Guests are welcome to check in after 3:00pm, in time for our wine and cheese social hour and check out is 12:00pm. Should you arrive before 3:00, we will do our best to get you comfortably in your room as soon as possible.  Late check-outs may be available upon request and could be subject to an additional charge.

We understand that plans change. Due to the size of our hotel, and to guarantee confirmed room types upon arrival, we request that you cancel your reservation at least 72-hours prior to your arrival to avoid being charged for your FULL stay. This policy may change for dates around special events (Wildlife Expo, Bridge Run, New Years, etc.). Please review the specific cancellation policy when your reservation is confirmed.  

The Ansonborough Inn is a 100% non-smoking hotel. This also includes the rooftop terrace. Smoking is permitted outside the building. A $200 per-night fee will be assessed if smoking is detected.

Yes, the hotel offers complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel, including common areas and guestrooms.

We are happy to provide housekeeping service upon request. We ask that you let the front desk know by 10:00 am if you’d would like traditional housekeeping service. Extra towels, toiletries, coffee and anything else you would like replenished can be provided at any time throughout your stay by contacting the front desk. 

Yes, the Ansonborough Inn is a pet-friendly Charleston hotel. Please feel free to bring your dogs with you while traveling. We welcome up to two pets (2) under 100 pounds each with a $40 per pet, per night, nonrefundable fee, not to exceed $120 per pet per stay. Additional fees may apply if there is damage to the hotel or deep cleaning your room is required upon your departure.

A deluxe continental breakfast featuring breads, pastries, cereals, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and a daily hot item is offered in our ground floor hospitality suite from 7:00am to 10:00am daily. 

Please join us in our hospitality suite from 5:00pm-6:00pm each evening for our lovely wine & cheese social, featuring an assortment of hot and cold appetizers.

On-site parking is available for $25 per car per night. Please notify the front desk associate upon arrival to receive a vehicle pass so that your car will not be ticketed or towed.

All of Ansonborough Inn’s rooms are equipped with a microwave oven, dorm-sized refrigerator, Keurig Machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and flat screen televisions.

We currently offer wines by the bottle and several local brews in our pub.

From I-26 EAST – Take the Morrison Drive exit and turn left onto Morrison Dr./East Bay Street. Drive approximately 2 miles and turn left at the corner of Hasell and East Bay. We will be on your right.

From RT 17 SOUTH – After crossing the Cooper River, take the East Bay Street exit. Turn left at the stop light. Turn left at the corner of Hasell and East Bay. We will be on your right.

From RT 17 NORTH – After crossing the Ashley River, exit to the far right and then go to the first traffic signal and turn left on Calhoun Street. Continue for 1.4 miles and turn right onto East Bay Street. Turn left at the corner onto Hasell and we will be on your right.
